Laura: Absolutely. In some places, “yes” doesn’t really

mean yes. In others, things move at a completely

different pace. That’s why site visits and relationships

are critical. You have to understand how to negotiate

and communicate across different cultural norms. And

always have a backup plan. Always.

Tech, Tools & AI: A Look at the Toolkit

Catherine: Let’s peek inside your toolkit. What keeps you

organized?

Laura: I still love spreadsheets! But we also use Airtable

for managing agendas, speakers, and sessions. For larger

events, we build custom apps that connect to our Airtable

database, so updates are real-time. Automation is crucial,

but I’m cautious about overusing AI. It should support

human connection, not replace it.

A Personal Touch in a Professional World

Catherine: How do you balance it all—travel, career,

motherhood?

Laura: I’m very intentional. I train in the morning to fuel

my energy, and when I travel, I sometimes bring my kids

along. It’s opened their world, too. They’ve experienced

these events and grown through them. But I also know

when to draw the line—when I need to be fully present

with my team and attendees.

It’s a reminder to all of us doing purpose-driven work: you

don’t have to choose between impact and intimacy—you

just have to choose intention.

What’s Next for Laura Viilep?

Catherine: What are you excited about in the future?

Laura: I’m watching how AI continues to evolve in our

space, but I’m most passionate about in-person events

and retreats. That’s the future. I’d also love to expand and

support more brands beyond Mindvalley, helping them

create experiences that change lives. And I want to help

young professionals in this industry rise with integrity

and purpose.

“The more digital the world becomes, the more

in-person experiences will become a luxury. Real

connection never goes out of style.”

Rapid Fire With Laura

Favorite destination? Jordan—for its uniqueness. And

Six Senses in Ibiza for luxury group experiences.

Most memorable speaker? Eric Edmeades. His speaking

workshop changed how I communicate—and how I live.

Secret superpower? I haven’t had sugar in over 10 years.

No desserts. No cravings. Just clarity!

Favorite tool? Airtable—for syncing sessions, speaker

info, and live updates across teams.

Laura Viilep reminds us that the most powerful

transformations don’t just happen on stage. They unfold

in the quiet moments—between sessions, inside a

sunrise meditation, or sparked by a single sentence from

a stranger. And behind each one is someone like Laura,

designing the space for that magic to unfold—not just

with logistics, but with love.
